We’re taking part in this year’s Pride parade – and you’re invited too!
Manchester Pride is nearly here, and we’re getting ready to celebrate in style!
The event brings thousands of people to the streets of Manchester each year, and is part of a global Pride movement celebrating LGTBQ+ equality and challenging discrimination. The main events take place across the August Bank Holiday weekend from 22-25 August 2025.
We’re taking part in the Pride parade on Saturday 23 August 2025 and will be proudly marching alongside other social housing professionals under the HouseProud banner – and we’d love you to be a part of it! The parade is one of the weekend’s highlights and is a lively, colourful celebration that draws crowds of people every year as it weaves its way through the city streets. This year’s theme is ‘The Love Parade’ – a celebration of how love has always empowered LGBTQ+ people to stay visible, strong, and united.
Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or are a proud ally, this is a fantastic opportunity to stand together, show support, and celebrate diversity and inclusion in our communities.
We’re inviting customers to join our Pride team in the parade – there’s limited spaces available, so get in touch as soon as possible if you’d like to get involved.
- When: Saturday 23 August 2025
- Time: You'll need to be available from 11am-2pm. The parade starts at 12pm and normally lasts about 90 minutes
- Please note: Due to the large number of participants, the parade may move at a slow pace, and there could be extended periods of standing and waiting. If you have any accessibility or mobility needs, please let us know when we confirm your place so we can support you.
