New weekly digital skills sessions at Gorton Hub

We’re excited to launch our brand-new Digital Connect Skills Sessions at Gorton Hub.

Posted | 30 June 2025

Want to get more confident using your phone, tablet or laptop?

Every Thursday, we’ll host these free drop-ins, designed to help you build your digital skills in a relaxed and friendly setting.

The sessions are run by Starting Point Community Learning Partnership, a local social enterprise that’s been helping people across Greater Manchester get to grips with the digital world, no matter their age or experience.

Who are the sessions for?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’ve never used the internet before or just want to brush up on your skills, these sessions are a great way to learn at your own pace, with no pressure and no jargon.

What to expect

These informal drop-in sessions are all about you, what you want to learn, and how you want to learn it. The friendly team from Starting Point will be there to guide you through anything you’d like to learn more about.

You can bring your own device (like a smartphone, tablet or laptop), or borrow one of the devices provided. No question is too small, and you’ll never be rushed.
