Are you looking for a new job or considering a career change?
Our Future Focus events are designed to help you explore exciting career opportunities across a range of different sectors.
Whether you're returning to the workforce, looking for fresh start or just exploring your options, these events are here to support your journey. In partnership with Manchester City Council, we’re bringing together local employers from different industries to connect with local talent like you. You’ll have the chance to learn about the key skills you’d need to get into that sector, discover training opportunities and chat with employers.
To support your journey, you'll be paired with one of our Employment Mentor’s who will be able to guide you through the process. Providing you with any information, advice, and support you may need to take your next step.

I’m interested in attending. What do I do?
If you’re interested in an event or know someone who might be, all you need to do is fill out our expression of interest form and we’ll be in touch.
After you’ve filled out the form, you’ll:
- Receive an email invite to our Future Focus events
- Go along to the events you’re interested in
- Get booked for a 1-2-1 appointment with an employment mentor
- Get the chance to discuss CV improvement, job applications, or finding training opportunities with your mentor
Our Employment and Skills team is dedicated to helping you build your confidence and develop your skills, all while supporting you in finding the right training and job opportunities.
