The building structure
Reinforced in situ concrete column and floor slab frame with in fill cavity masonry construction including a whole building steel framed overclad roof and fascia panels and rainscreen external wall cladding system (see below for details).
The external walls construction is:
- Alucobond A2 rainscreen cladding panels over rockwool mineral insulation.
- Clay tiles cladding system with mineral wool insulation to gable ends which over clads the original render cladding and mineral fibre insulation system.
- Wonderwall 1 Clay Brick Slip Panel Cladding System on phenolic foam insulation (ground floor only).
- Alucobond A2 rainscreen cladding panels and rockwool mineral insulation over retained polystyrene cored spandrel panels only located in panels below existing windows, adjacent to balconies, on the rear elevation.
- Bauclad lining to soffits of open access walkways (only located on walkway access elevation)
