Building Safety Case Information

Construction materials
Reinforced in situ concrete column and floor slab frame with in fill cavity masonry construction including a whole building steel framed overclad roof and fascia panels and rainscreen external wall cladding system (see below for details).
The external walls construction is:
- Alucobond A2 rainscreen cladding panels over rockwool mineral insulation
- Terracotta clay tiles over mineral fibre insulation.
- Wonderwall 1 Clay Brick Slip Panel Cladding System on phenolic foam insulation (ground floor only).
- Infill powder coated Idealcombi aluminium spandrel panels with polyurethane foam core to a single narrow vertical window strip to one elevation
- Laminated glazed screens to resident balconies.
In addition to the above, the following is currently in place on certain areas of the building:
- Dryvit outsulation render cladding system over expanded polystyrene insulation to (i) a vertical strip adjacent to the windows of one gable end, and (ii) one of the vertically arranged private balconies (around the glazed sliding doors and balcony soffits)
- High pressure laminate panels to balcony edge walls to one of the vertically arranged private balconies
The latter construction is planned to be replaced in 2025 (currently awaiting the Building Safety Regulators approval) with:
- Wetherby external wall insulation render system with WBS stone wool insulation board. The balcony edge walls noted will also be replaced with textured render finish on STS construction board.
