We have an exciting position available for a Greenspace Operative to join us!

You’ll carry out work with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, along with an ethos of ‘Right First

Time’ always completing Greenspace task where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality and high

standards of performance.

You will carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled Greenspace operative, including

associated works, across the full range of Greenspace services on all One Manchester`s owned and

managed properties. Further to this, you’ll visit premises and properties to carry out Greenspace maintenance work to both tenanted and empty homes.

What we’re looking for:

  • An NVQ Level 2 horticulture qualification [or equivalent), or willingness to work towards

  • A Full Driving licence which will allow to tow trailer and plant or willingness to work towards

  • PA1/PA6 Spraying licence or will work towards

  • A working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and COSSH

  • Basic IT skills including Microsoft word and email, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience of working within a customer facing environment offering excellent customer service.

  • Ability to accurately record, document and complete work activity through mobile devices or other appropriate means.
