General Responsibilities

Administrative Support:
Providing administrative and technical support to the Community Safety team, including but not limited to organizing meetings, managing data, logging information on systems and portals and preparing reports.

Multi-Agency Coordination:
Coordinating and supporting partnerships between various agencies, such as the police, local councils, and community groups.
· Customer engagement
Communicating with and supporting customers, including residents and other stakeholders, to address their concerns and needs, carry out risk assessments and escalate as necessary.

Investigation and Case Management:
Taking initial reports of anti-social behaviour and assisting with investigations into incidents and managing cases related to community safety.

Project Support:
Providing support for various community safety projects, including monitoring progress, evaluating effectiveness, and preparing funding bids.

Raising Awareness:
Helping to raise awareness of community safety issues and promoting engagement with relevant programs and initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:

Administrative Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as proficiency in using relevant software and systems.

Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge of Community Safety:
Some understanding of community safety issues, including crime prevention, anti-social behaviour, and related initiatives.

Teamwork and Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
Ability to identify problems, analyse situations, and develop solutions to address community safety concerns.
Please note the role requires flexible working and will involve occasional evening and Saturday commitments.
