Anna Bishop’s taking the next step in her career

Posted 16 Aug 2022

We’re delighted to share that Anna Bishop, our Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as CEO of South Liverpool Homes and will take up her new role in November 2022.

Owning and managing more than 3850 homes in the south Liverpool area, South Liverpool Homes has a vision to deliver great homes, strong communities and are committed to tackling social inequality. We’re confident Anna will do brilliantly at helping them deliver on their ambitions.

Having been with us for the last three years, Anna has made a significant contribution to the organisation since her appointment in 2019 – leading our customer and homes functions to help improve our service offer and embed the customer voice across the organisation.

Commenting on her new appointment, Anna says:

“I’m honoured and excited to be given the opportunity to lead South Liverpool Homes and spearhead the delivery of their new five-year corporate plan. I’m looking forward to working with their customers, colleagues, Board and partner organisations to deliver a great service for their customers and reduce social inequality."

“I’ve absolutely loved every minute of my time at One Manchester. It’s been fantastic to work with so many great colleagues and see our services evolve in such a way that has enabled us to create thriving communities. While I’m sad to be leaving One Manchester at such an exciting point of their journey, it’s what I’ve learned and how I’ve developed since being here that has enabled me to take this next step. Over the last year, we’ve seen several colleagues develop and progress both internally and externally which I believe is the sign of a healthy organisation and shows what a great place One Manchester is.”

Nic Kershaw, CEO of One Manchester, says:

“I’m extremely proud of Anna – her new role as CEO of South Liverpool Homes is so well deserved. Although I’m sad to see her moving on from One Manchester, I’m delighted to see Anna progress and achieve her ambitions. I wish her all the very best in her new role.”
