NHS Track and Trace app now available
The NHS contact tracing app has just launched which gives you a local risk level based on your postcode, allows you to check into places for contact tracing, and links you to symptom checkers. Plus, there's the latest advice and the ability to enter a test result. For more information on the app and how to download it, visit the official website.
£500 self-isolating payment from the Government
New laws regarding self-isolating will soon be supported by a payment of £500. The payment applies to anybody on a lower income who cannot work from home and has lost income as a result. Self-isolation is one of the most powerful tools for controlling the transmission of Covid-19, so the new Test and Trace Support payment of £500 will help people to self-isolate without worrying about their finances. Details of how to apply haven’t been released yet but we will update our customers as soon as more information is available.

You can now make an appointment to speak to a trained employment adviser at Eastlands House, Openshaw. Appointment slots are available on Tuesday and Thursday, 10am-3pm.

Face-to-face appointments available with a customer service adviser
Appointments can now be booked to speak with a customer service adviser at our Gorton office on Hyde Road and The Work Shop, Alexandra Road in Moss Side. Reception opening hours are: Gorton - Monday and Thursday, 12pm-4pm / Moss Side - Tuesday and Friday, 12pm-4pm. Make an appointment on 0330 355 1000 (Monday to Friday, 8am-5.30pm) or use the intercom outside the buildings during opening hours.
