We recognise that this change will not suit everyone but customers are increasingly telling us that they want to access our services in different ways. We know that you sometimes need to meet with a member of staff face to face and we will continue to provide a range of flexible options to ensure this continues. However, the majority of issues that our customers come and speak to us about in our offices can be done online or over the telephone.
One Manchester’s website was launched earlier this year and allows you to be able to pay your rent, check your account balance and update your personal details. Soon, you will also be able to order repairs, check the status of existing repairs and view your repairs history.
As well, you will find a range of information on all of One Manchester’s support and advice services including rehousing, employment matters, money tips, support/well-being and events and activities in your local area.
By changing how we deliver our services, we can provide more flexibility for you and can prioritise our resources more effectively so we can deliver what you need, when you need it
How can you continue to access services once we have relocated? We have made careful plans to ensure you can continue to access the services you need once Cornbrook House closes.
We aim to resolve most enquiries at the first point of contact – when you email us, submit an online form or phone our contact centre. However, we recognise that in some circumstances you may still need to meet with one of our staff members to receive more detailed advice. Therefore, we will continue to make use of local venues or visit you at your home if you need to arrange a face to face appointment. These are some of the potential options:
From Tuesday 12th September we will be available on
at the S4B Housing Office in Brunswick, where you can bring in documents required for your Manchester Move application or Housing Benefit claim.
In addition to the above, you will still be able to validate your documents from these venues:
Full Brunswick Address: S4B Housing Office, Bramwell Drive, Manchester M13 9SU
We will keep reviewing how we deliver our services to you which may result in further changes to local office access arrangements. Any further changes will be clearly communicated and we will ensure we continue to provide a wide range of service access options to meet your needs. If you would like to contact a member of our Customer Services Team about the planned changes please e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org
