East Manchester is changing; last year the Council published its Eastlands Regeneration Framework which shows the desire to regenerate the area with investment in the place; its facilities and in new business and work opportunities by the Council, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester Life and other partners.
We are holding two community drop in events on 14 and 19 July 2018, where residents, businesses and community groups in the Grey Mare Lane Estate area will have the opportunity to share their views on what they would like to see happen in the area. Their feedback will help us to shape future plans and make sure that it meets the needs of the community.
We are at a very early stage of working up ideas and this is a chance for local people to have their say in the future of the area so that we can build something together which we can all be proud of. If you live or work in the area, please come along and share your ideas.
Don't worry if you can't make either of these events as we will be keeping our website up to date so keep checking back for further information. You can also give us a ring to find out further information, or if you would like to arrange an individual appointment at home or at our office, please do not hesitate to contact us.
