Thursday night saw presentations from Anton Schultz, from One Manchester, who described how the fund will work and the key criteria for applications. The catalyst fund is a way to access specific funding for launching or growing your new business, but here at One Manchester, we also offer a great deal more in terms support and training through our One Venture team.
This was then followed by Teun Van Rooij from Manchester City Council, who discussed support that was on offer from the council for new businesses, this particularly focused on the support that is available at Manchester Central Library.
We also heard from Gary Millar at GMCVO, who spoke abut additional support and funding that is available at the Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisations and George Konsta from Manchester Social Entrepreneurs, discussing the network and meetups that can support your growing business.
