We’re aspiring to be a sustainable and low carbon organisation by supporting Greater Manchester’s plans to become carbon neutral by 2038

To achieve our commitment, we're working with The Carbon Literacy Project to deliver motivational training sessions with the aim of educating all of our employees about climate change. The training also raises awareness of how we as individuals, and as an organisation, can make positive changes for a “greener” future and a healthier planet.

Working together Working together

The response from staff so far has been great, and they have been inspired to make meaningful pledges to act on climate change both at home and at work.

"The training has really made me take a look at the way I've been using energy at home", explained Adam who attended one of the training sessions. "It was pretty sobering to find out how much my traveling is impacting on my carbon footprint. I've definitely made a few tweaks and changes to my lifestyle to try and offset this".

Keep an eye on our website for more updates about this project soon. We've definitely got more in store!

Our Carbon Literacy trainer, Liz Prestbury, explains more about our staff-wide training programme which we have named ‘The Climate Project’ in this short video below.
