How to Register and Manage your account online

 

What information do I need to register online?

You need to be the named tenant on a One Manchester property

National Insurance Number

You can find your National Insurance number from any benefits, or pay slips or pension slips. You will also be able to retrieve this from any employment documents or your original National Insurance Card.

You must know your 9-digit tenancy number starting with 3000

Your tenancy number will be on your rent statements and any communications related to your rent.

You must have a valid email address

Booking, Managing, and Cancelling Repairs

 

Who can book an online repair?

Online repairs ordering is only available to One Manchester tenants and leaseholders who have registered for an online services account. Please take a look at our repairs guideline page for more information before booking a repair.

What repair services can I book online?

You can book a repair that relates to any of the following:

  • Central heating - Gas
  • Central heating - Electric
  • Drains
  • Electrical faults
  • Electric fires
  • External doors
  • Electric showers
  • Floorboards
  • Gas fires
  • Guttering
  • Internal leaks
  • Outside leak into property
  • Taps
  • Toilets
  • Other
Can I request a repair for communal areas in my block?

Yes, you can request a communal area repair. This repair request will be visible in the online dashboard of every tenant from your block that has registered for an online account so that there's no duplication of appointments.

What is the difference between book a repair and request a repair?

Book a repair

You can choose the date and time that suits you and the repair will be instantly booked.

Request a repair

If the repair you have tried to book requires additional details or if it is a repair that according to our Repairs Policy (click this link to open the policy) is chargeable, we will need to get in contact with you and then, upon discussing the repair with you, our contact centre team will arrange an appointment with you.

Your booking will also change into a request if there are no suitable appointments available, in which case you will be asked to specify your availability preferences. 

If your booking was changed to a request you will either:

  • Receive a call back within one working day to confirm details, eligibility, or to discuss possible changes
  • Receive an SMS with your booking details if the booking can be made using the details already provided
Can I cancel or manage a repair booking?

Yes, you can view and manage your booking via your dashboard. You may also cancel your booking online up to 5pm the day before your appointment. For more on how to manage your booking please watch the video below:

How do I book a repair?

Booking a repair online is simple, all you have to do is log into your account and find the book a repair button in your dashboard. Please watch the video below to learn how to book a repair quickly and with ease:
