Royal Mail are now recruiting for Mobile Cleaning Operatives to cover both Tyldesley Delivery Office, Primrose Street, Manchester, M29 8AA and Atherton Delivery Office, 11 Crab Tree Lane, Manchester, M46 0AA.
To provide consultation and support to residents prior to, during and after works to their homes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. To develop effective working relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors, site-based personnel, local stakeholders, the local community and the Customer Care Department.

Healthwatch Manchester are looking for a suitable, enthusiastic candidate who can lead on the development of the volunteer base.

The Disability Supported Accommodation Service (DSAS) is a citywide network of housing with support and respite services for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, individuals with a physical disability, adults whom are sensory impaired or have an acquired brain injury. This is a 24/7 provision and candidates will need to be willing to work on a rota to cover days, evenings and weekends.
The Service aims to make a positive difference to the lives of individuals with disabilities by offering person centred support and care, as well as quality housing, as we believe that every individual has the right to achieve their full potential, regardless of disability, and that disability should not exclude a person from society and a fuller community life.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide support to disabled adults with their day to day needs, within their own home, which may be within a permanent supported living environment or the Short Breaks service.
You will also assist in the provision of practical and emotional support to customers that will promote independence and will assist and support other involved parties, to ensure positive outcomes for all customers.
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here.
