Last year, we set up the Thrive Fund, to help combat the increased cost of living by helping support our customers purchase items they were struggling to afford. We were proud to support a total of 850 families in round one of the fund.

Who can apply?

The Thrive Fund is only available to One Manchester customers who are renting their home.

We’re only able to accept applications from customers who haven’t previously applied for the fund. If you’ve made an application in the last 12 months, we will unfortunately be unable to help you on this occasion.

If you’re struggling financially, don’t do so alone contact our Financial Inclusion team who will be able to talk to you about your situation and offer support and advice.

What can I apply for?

The Thrive Fund is here to help you get items you may need for your family. You can apply for support for items from the following categories, these are; white goods and cookers, small kitchen items, beds, bedding, furniture, flooring, and window coverings. Applicants are able to apply for items in a maximum of two of these categories e.g. you could apply to receive a bed and a cooker.

Customers can also request referrals for assistance with school uniform, as well as referrals to our other support services including our Support and Wellbeing team, Employment and Skills team and the Financial Inclusion team. Customers can also apply for support towards decorating their home.

As part of the fund, we’re unable to pay directly for bills, rent or provide cash to customers, instead if your application is accepted we will either purchase the requested item/items for you or issue you with an e-voucher to select your item yourself.

You can apply now for the new Thrive Fund by completing our online form which can be found here.
