We recently told you about how we’ve been planning to keep consulting with you while we’re under the current Coronavirus restrictions. We must follow Government guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety, so although some aspects of the development, such as the pilot improvement works and site surveys are able to continue, face-to-face consultation is still not able to go ahead.
You can still continue to get in touch with us to share your views, either by phone or by email and we’ll be sending out all important updates to you by letter to make sure you have all the latest information.
You can also keep using our digital engagement hub, which gives you several different ways to share your views on the regeneration project, from adding your thoughts to the ideas wall to adding comments on the interactive map of the estate.
We now have a small group of ambassadors to help us work with the local community but would welcome more residents to work with us. If you’re interested in becoming an ambassador, please contact Patrick on Patrick.email@example.com or calling 07725206497
Please remember that we’re still here for you, and Patrick will be happy to help however he can.
If you have any questions on the consultation, or if you’d like to speak to us about something else, you can fill out our web form, or call us on 0330 355 1000.
Contact Patrick on Patrick.Beesley@onemanchester.co.uk or phone 0161 230 1051.
The regeneration involves building new homes for residents who are affected by demolition along with a number of additional new homes with tenures such as shared ownership, whilst making improvements to the remaining homes to help make them more energy efficient and enhance the external appearance.
We will also look to improve the local amenities around the estate along with alleyways and open spaces.
Our proposals still have a long way to go and we will be continuing to discuss and shape them with the local community.
One Manchester places high importance on creating employment opportunities for local people and delivering healthy happy communities and making this area a great place to live.
Should you wish to speak to a member of the Grey Mare Lane Estate Team, below are the details you need.
This page will be continually updated to ensure all residents and stakeholders remain informed about the progress of the regeneration project.
One Manchester is not just about the bricks and mortar, we also work hard to build strong communities and help the people in them to develop and thrive. This is why we were recently delighted to support one of our Beswick residents, by helping her find work after the lockdown had made things difficult for her.
